The Teacher Eligibility Test is only a pre-requisite eligibility test for those who are seeking appointment as a teacher.

For appointment of teachers, the Teachers Recruitment Board will follow separate selection procedures. The Teachers Recruitment Board conducts this test as a Nodal Agency for the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Today (12.07.2012) TET-2012 Has been conducted by government of Tamilnadu , around 6 lac teachers has written the examinations today . report reveals thats questions were tough and now teachers are looking over when the TET-2012 results will be announced
