The RC helicopters are now in..If controlling an aircraft  was getting you over the top, controlling your helicopter will humble you down to earth. The remotely controlled helicopter differs from an RC aircraft in three prime reasons viz. aerodynamics , construction and  controlling. To be more precise, attacking to the point,

THE HELICOPTERS ARE DYNAMICALLY UNSTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And hence manoeuvring becomes tougher but exciting!!!!!!

WHY RC HELICOPTER WORKSHOP??

This workshop is primarily targeted at students who wish to explore the myths behind designing and flying of a helicopter by a hands-on training session. This workshop would take the student on a variety of topics right from the basic design principles ,followed by rotor dynamics and aerodynamic capabilities. This workshop will give the student the opportunity to learn about the unexplored world of helicopters ,right from designing to fabricating.  The conceptual aspects of the four controls and two flight conditions would be discussed in addition to the briefing about the transmitter ,receiver and different motor types.

BRAIN-STROMING :The students would be given a session to breeze past the ideas about the helicopter basics , the first step to unravel the mystery.

LEC-DEM : This session has a harangue about the controls and aerodynamics of helicopter with simultaneous demonstrations for the same because practical learning truly surmounts theoretical learning.

DESIGNING: This session requires paper work where team work comes into play . Each candidate will be assigned to design a particular part of helicopter right from the selection of type to the electronics.

SIMULATION: The helicopter thus designed will be checked for its manoeuvrability and its efficiency.

FABRICATION: Alas!! This is the test for skill. As an old saying goes, �actions speak louder than words!!!�, the end product of design will only speak volumes of design accurateness. So result is all what matters the most.

TEST FLYING : The models would be flown to give the participants the satisfaction , which is the ultimatum for attending the workshop.

REVIEW: The unique attribute to AERO360's workshop is that , we give a comprehensive review post-flight session giving insights for further innovations and up-gradations.
